This Artist Documents Her Travels By Painting Plates Of Her Favorite Spots

Jacqueline Poirier is affectionately known as "The Crazy Plate Lady" on the internet. She wears the title with pride. Her recent project was a series of vacation plates that she painted over a vacation in order to preserve her memory of the trip.

We thought it was awesome and wanted to share it with you.

She writes, "My work as the Crazy Plate Lady has granted me the opportunity to travel all over the world, but doesn't often afford a lot of time for personal vacation. These ‘momentary mini-vacations’ satisfy my wanderlust without causing me to sacrifice too much time doing what I love most… which is painting for all of you!".
